One of the activities I do after school is reading. I read books from the Robinson Curriculum, and I read from a Kindle. Reading is my most common hobby, and it is what I usually do. I use a Kindle because it is not bad for your eyes, and there is many books you can get, that you can not get in the library or bookstore. Reading is very fun and sometimes reading is very addicting. Reading is my favourite hobby.
Programming is also very fun. Programming is another hobby of mine, and to program I use Scratch. Scratch is a website wherein you could program projects and share them. In Scratch you can explore other people's projects, as well as other people exploring your projects. My Username is Sunboyz, and I'm planning to be an Software Engineer when I grow up. I enjoy programming many things, especially animations that other people can benefit by. Programming is another hobby that I have.
Catechism is also a hobby that I have. Catechism means question and answer. There is a question about God, then there is an answer and a few bible verses to memorize. Every week I memorize one question, and I meet with my Pastor, Pastor Andrew. I use the Westminster Shorter Catechism, and there is also a longer version. There are 107 questions in total.
I also play piano. I am practicing for the Grade eight exams on our professional piano. My teacher is Raymond Yundt, [I call him Raymond] and he is a jolly high-spirited man. I am planing to play piano for my church when I am mature enough.
All these activities are at home. I also do many activities elsewhere. One of the other Activities that is outside, is Tennis. I practice Tennis at the Waterloo Tennis Club, and I started Tennis lessons this year. My teacher is Manuel, and I am in the second-highest level. [levels are based on age.] Tennis is a very fun sport.
Another sport that I is outside of my house, is swimming. I go to the Waterloo Recreation Centre for swimming lessons. For swimming I am in splash seven. I went snorkelling many times, three times at Cuba, and once at Hawaii. Swimming is a great activity.
I also go to Fun-day club. Fun-day club is a activity where people who homeschool go to that place to have fun. This is done on Monday, and Mom's teach us subjects that they know, that is, subjects that are fun. Children separate into groups of their grade, and other Mom's are used as helpers. The place where we do Fun-day Club is at a Church at Benton St, Fun-day Club is a place where everyone has fun.
Moreover, I go to Church. My Church is KWCAC, called Kitchener Waterloo Chinese Alliance Church. On Sunday, I go to English Service at 9:00 AM, and then at about 10:30 AM I go to Sunday School where I worship with those that are about my age. I do many activities when I have free time.
There is many activities that I enjoy after school. Some that are at my house are: Reading, Programming, Catechism, and Practicing the Piano. I also do Tennis, Swimming, Fun-day Club, and Church. I love to do these activities after school.
