The Russian gentleman that mother took in felt better after a few months, so he went on a hunt for his family. He promised to mail them if he found his family. In a few months, the railway children received two letters - one from Dad and one from the Russian gentleman. The Russian gentleman stated that he had found his family, and now they were happily living in a small house. On the other hand, Dad stated that he had found a new job and would come home as soon as possible. Every one was very excited. Then, as they all heard a knock on the door, all of them hoped that it would be Father. As Mother opened the door, trembling with excitement, behold, standing right outside of the door was Father! The children were overjoyed, hugging their father over and over again, while their Mother had tears of happiness streaming down their face. Then they got hot tea and buns for their father, who was very cold and hungry after a night's travel. When their Father felt better, they travelled to their home sweet home.
