The King and his wife were enjoying a nice day outside. The King, Amuba done a lot to improve the Rebu's army. He also used some of the Egyptian weapons that he learnt about in Egypt. Amuba had a son and Daughter. His son, Amnis, was 12 years old, and his daughter, Mytis, was only eight years old. Amnis was now well experienced, and he knew how to fight. On the other hand, Mytis was still young, and loved to play. During Amuba's captivity, he used Amnis as a code name, and his wife used Mytis as a code name.
One fine day, Mytis was allowed to go out near the wall to play. Amuba set up guards at the wall to watch out for any spies. A few minutes later, the guards came back saying that the Egyptians are here to fight the Rebu, and that the Egyptian King said that he came on account of the Cat of Bubastes. Amuba prepared his army. He was ready for something like this, and his army was better than ever. His armies were neat and tidy and he had a exellent strategy. Moreover, he kept calm, while the Egyptians were just raging about. The Egyptians now had a different king, Amenhotep the 2nd. The two armies fought, though this time the Egyptians did not get to the wall. Amenhotep sent some spies, and those spies arrived at the wall. They saw Mytis playing, and decided to shoot her with arrows. At the time, Amnis saw what happened and picked up a dead man's throwing-stick. [An Egyptian hunting weapon.] Amnis aimed with a accuracy like a eagle and knocked the spies of the wall. Then taking his sword, he killed the spies. Mytis did not notice all this. Amnis decided to not tell Mytis and to only tell his father. Amuba was overjoyed at Amnis's bravery and rewarded Amnis a throwing-stick of his own. A few minutes later, the Rebu won the battle. The Rebu took some captives, but they treated the captives as well as Amuba and Jethro had been treated in captivity. For Amuba did not forget when he was a captive.
